  1. I find the PID gets gradually more and more sluggish until I do a software update check. Even though no updates are found it must be storing cache internally which gets uploaded to mothership when I plug it into my computer, after which it is always back up to speed again.
  2. I moved my two bed flat from Brighton to London - took about 18 journeys and the only thing i couldn't move in it was the double spring mattress and desk which had to go with a Man With A Van. I even got the double futon in, frame and all! You should have seen the neighbours staring when I struggled up the street with the double futon mattress to the tiny little car and began stuffing it in. I've also done numerous runs to the tip, my girlfriend quite often sleeps in the back when she waits for me to finish work. Great car, should rename it The Tardis...
  3. They've actually got a 'Skoda Brochures' catagory: http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/Skoda-Brochures-/100965/i.html... is this like stamp collecting for petrol heads?
  4. I do a mixed motorway (70mph) and innercity (30-40mph) and average 57-62mpg according to my PID.
  5. The HHC surprised me when it first happened because it wasn't a feature when I bought the car, aparently they started putting it in around my build date...
  6. I do 700-1000 miles per week and have the 75 Greentech model. I average 400 miles per tank but I've never driven it until completely dry so I don't know how much further I can go (I generally fill up 32'ish litres). NB. did anyone else notice that after the last PID update the low fuel notification and offer of locating a fuel station now pop's up with 40 miles remaining rather than 30 miles remaining as it did before?...
  7. I got one of these for my Acer Liquid Metal but they'll work with any device: http://www.tetrax.com/en/products/fix-line
  8. Considering the Nexus 4 is only a fortnight old I'm not surprised its not on the list... if it doesn't work with the updated Jelly Bean and the latest nexus hardware I'd be extrememly surprised. I can pair my Nexus 7 but as it's got no phone facility it just sits there paired and not doing much
  9. My Acer Liquid Metal (Android 2.2) works fine with the PID, the only thing that doesn't seem to work is the SMS to speech function. I think you'll find any bluetooth phone will work.
  10. I noticed this when I filled up from an empty tank last night and thought I'd got a tank of dodgy fuel - was the good 97 stuff too! Feels like I've suddenly got boot load of bricks... Should I expect the performance to come back before this tank is out?
  11. Ah, another Citigo mystery put to bed Thanks.
  12. I noticed a plastic box attached to the floor under the passenger side seat in my Citigo today with wires coming out of it, next to it the carpet has been roughly cut away and I can see a hole in the metal chasis like wires are supposed to go through it or something... seems to be some kind of after-fit item but I've got a standard build car. Anyone have any idea what this odd object may be?
  13. I've always had clanging type noises too which I thought sound like the exchaust and it's quite noisy when changing gear (the gear change noises don't sound wrong, i'm just not used to hearing the mecahnics of the gearbox I think), I was hoping that this would fade once I've got a few miles on it. Additionally the gears are pretty clunky and normally doesn't like going into first gear first time, I was hoping this too would fix over time. I've done almost 2500 miles since collecting it 2 weeks ago. I remember the gears being really smooth when I test drove the Up and I was on the understanding the gearboxes are identical... Should I be concerned about my new car?
