  1. @offski I once put PIAA silicone blades on my previously owned Smart car. LOVED them, it's was like self applying rain-x and they lasted years (2-3years) and were still going strong when I sold it. These days I own a Volvo v60 and a Skoda Citigo. My question is your experience with fitment. Are they quite universal with a range of fitting connectors. The si-tech ones seem to be scarce as hens teeth online but I've found a retailer now that has stock, but just hesitant to order 4 blades when not 100% guaranteed they'll fit. (Also packaging probably melt sealed so I'll never know without busting open a pack). Thanks in advance!!!
  2. Got my dealer to to the Cornering Fog lamps mod... (he was impressed that i gave him the VAGCOM codes) it was done when i arrived to collect my new citigo today. I guess it depends on the dealer, Ive found a fantastic guy at my local. couldnt be any more helpful and genuine! now the fun begins lighting up side streets and driveways on arrival. thanks for the tip @estorilblue
  3. Got a set of rubber ones included with my Elegance 60, original citigo branded and mould to the contours on the footwell. i reckon it varies from dealer to dealer. needless to say im very happy with mine!

  5. Thanks guys.. 3 votes = enough reason to give it a go! I could only find scotchgard, but people had mixed reports, that its pretty much like any other shoe/fabric waterproof spray. The Gtechniq I1 looks like a good product. Found on amazon/ebay for around 16-17 quid for a 500ml bottle. Let me know if anyone finds a deal. Cecolon, gratulerer med ny bil! Mine has arrived at the dealer and I have been to check it out, pick up registered on Tuesday. Re, protection spray: I think it will create a protective layer, so help with dirt, water, jeans (dye/blue). I just want to do from the start to give keep them new and protected from our Norwegian weather
  6. Good experiences so far... my Elegance 60hk comes with 15" Auriga Summer Tyres (Conti Eco 2), and at present i has mounted the 14" Apus with Nokian Hakkapilitta R winter tyres. Handles like a dream in wet, ice and snow. Cant fault them... the finnish always do an awesome extreme winter tyre for scandinavian market!!! Its quite the norm to have to sets over here in Norway, but hasnt put me wrong ever so far. Very sturdy and capable in all conditions = happy camper!
  7. Will recieve my new Citigo elegance next week. Was thinking might be smart to use a fabric protector spray right from the get go. ie scotchgard or diamondbrite etc. Luckily the elegance ive ordered has a pretty hardy all black fabric, but for ambition owners with the two tone grey/black, or people with the beige fabrics, I would think its a no brainer to ensure the longevity of the fabric. Any thoughts, good experience or recommendation on which ones you've used now or previously would be warmly welcome! Cheers, Andy
  8. Anybody heard or seen update on this? My build week is wk50 at this stage for a 60ps Elegance. Hoping for the rapid style steering wheel.

  12. Pete10 Which version on Eco Contact did you get? 3, 5 or EP Liam2, I may be wrong but is there an Eco Contact 2? Is it perhaps Eco Contact 3 or Premium Contact 2? grateful if you could check for me.
  13. Agree Vgnils. Candy White + Nano looks a very classy combo and save kr3500 on metalic paint option. I chose the same. Shame we have to wait so long :( Nice choice Cecolon... the green was my favourite colour, but I went with the 'safe' option (pingler!). The light interior is the best combination to the green. top choice!
  14. I was informed all citigo/up!/mii 's built in VAG plant in Bratislava (Slovakia)... thus why were getting delays for all three makes reported. This is of course the final assembly, but perhaps parts made elsewhere, such as alternator. but considering all assembled in one place, this issue is odd and even more so that nobody can explain why, or if it even should be there. I live in Bergen, Norway... 270+ rain days per year and 2500mm on average. So the alternator will be both frozen and drenched here. important for me to know if it should be there or not Look forward to hearing if someone gets clue from Skoda.
  15. My bad! edited above I hate to say it, but Im really hoping not to get the Ecopia's... Definitely agree with you that Conti Premium Contact 2 would be the pick of the bunch! highly rated!
