  1. The majority of uk 4x4's were produced after 2001 and actually have the ko3s turbo, but are only tuned to 150bhp not 180bhp like the vrs. The gear ratios are lower and the 4x4 is certainly worse on fuel, would deffo have benefited with a 6th gear! . Stick winter tyres on and are amazing in snow! A remap and 200bhp is easily available... here is mine.
  2. Hatch or estate? Is front bumper available? Cheers Mark
  3. Depends if you are currently driving an mk1 octavia 1.8t 4x4.... :-) 35mpg would be a dream!!!!!
  4. Has anyone made a how2 guide on fitting a cupra R front splitter to a standard (Non-VRS) bumper? I found a how2 guide a while back but cannot find any how2 guides now?! Mark
  5. Hello I am new to skoda!!! Ive been a vauxhall follower for years but decided to go to the other side! Ive bought myself a skoda octavia 4x4 1.8T eligance, I am quite impressed by the turbo engine and 4x4 system! I have upgraded the front brakes to 312mm TT discs and calipers, but am looking into upgrading the rears too. The rears are 239MM solid discs and I want to upgrade to the 256mm Vented type... ANY IDEAS??? also have put on 17" Spiders and lowered it 30mm... Mark
  6. Ive had my 4x4 1.8t for two months now 50 / 50 motorway / town driving, my comp average says 29.3mpg and ive worked out the true mpg - miles divided by fuel used.. its 28.8mpg. Poor i know. When i first had it I had various air leaks, but in fact it got better mpg then as wasnt boosting so much!! What i really want to know is does the mpg improve after a remap? Thanks Mark
