I had a facelift Sport C Class in 2011 for six months and i was very impressed. I have had a new current A4 Sline to as well as a 3 series. The C Class has plus and minus's against all of them but was a very accomplished car with excellent build quality.

I really liked the Mazda 6, awesome car for the money. Dealer wouldn't even give me a value on mine or discount on list. Just seemed like he didn't want the business. Weird. I agree the c220 is a bit agricultural, i had one for six months. It is a very good car. Kind of ticks the boxes in between a BMW and Audi.

Current Merc deals are on Sport Edition models with Premium Pack. Have HD Command online, DAB, Heated seats, rear camera. Don't have Xenons and 17" wheels only. I went for the previous model Sport Plus doesn't have the premium pack but does have 18" alloys and Bi Xenons. Bought a Becker Map Pilot sat nav module of ebay for it £200.

Well guys, i cancelled my new vRS order and got my deposit back. I've got new 14 plate C220cdi Sport Plus with £9.5k off! PCP Payments also coming in cheaper then the vRS. If i stick another £500 deposit (£3700 inc equity in my car) and do it over 2 years i'm paying £266 a month or £1k down (£3,200) at £296 over three. The Merc dealer also gave me £15k for my Blackline with 17k on the clock. I'm struggling to sell it private at £15,800 !.

Did you get your deposit back. I have the option on an outgoing c220cdi sport plus with Command HD. Need to make up my mind tomorrow. Got £10.5k of list. £3k down and £328 a month. The Vrs isn't much cheaper at £315 a month.

Ordered 27th. Tdi estate manual, cruise, canton, heated pack, power tailgate, sunset, spare, amundsen, b pack. Was gold BW8, bw 18, bw21 and now bw18 today. Off to a Merc dealer tomorrow to see if I can get a fully loaded c class sport for £300 instead. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk

If you want it in March you can have it in March. Just tell them your not collecting them or signing any finance etc until then.

vRS Estate TDi Manual with some common options ordered 27/11/12. Moved from BW8 to BW18 now its BW20 !! That will be seven months from order !!! What a load of *******s.

That is one reason I'm going to manual this time. The 6th on a Dsg feels to high and noisy. I drove a manual and it felt more relaxed at motorway speeds. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk

Take it back to the dealer asap. I've had this before when retro fitting cruise. There is a pin that is not seated properly in the indicator stalk that connects to the steering column. Has the car had cruise retro fitted? Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk

I had the same dilemma. Currently drive a Blackline Dsg. Whilst it's very good I do feel detached from the driving experience at times. The car doors also feel nose heavy due to the added weight. Therefore I went manual on my new vRS. £1300 cheaper, lower road tax, not nose heavy. Also better mpg. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk

After adding electric tailgate to my vRS tdi manual estate ordered in Nov the provisional build week has jumped from week 8 to 18. FFS, I wish I hadn't bothered adding it. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk

I used to work in the trade at a main dealer. You buy a 'protection pack' for £300. The albanian valeter then applies his own polish and keeps yours to sell on ebay. Wax on and wax off done in an hour. I also remember once, one of the sales guys applying it himself while the customer was waiting in the showroom as they had forgot about the handover! It really is a complete con and waste of money.
