Hi, don't know if this is the right place for this thread, but I am looking at a Fabia... Got a quote I am happy with and going ahead this week - want to know if I can pick up metallic paint for a reasonable premium. VAT free it's £412.50 which is about £12/ month over 41. How much can I shave from that do you reckon? Any thoughts appreciated. R

Ha! I love being tailgated! Doesn't happen all that often, but I love playing games. Only ever happens to me in the city when I am sticking (near enough) to speed limits. I love having someone up my tail for ages in a 30 or 40 zone, then leaving them for dust on 60+ roads ( as far as I'm concerned speed limits don't exist on motorways - there's enough lanes for everyone to drive safely).

Hi. Am looking at selling my Audi to get a VRS estate. Not had it a year yet, but miss the ooomph of the remapped Mondeo I had before. Am thinking of speccing it in silver and debadging the back (and the front) to get a semi-sleeper finish (though it is still a little lairy, and not so fast as to be a true sleeper). The back will be easy to do, but I don't know how the grille is fixed. I used to have a 16v mk3 Golf GTI. The grille had a 16v badge that stood proud and looked seperate, but was moulded as part of the grille. Is this the same for the VRS, or is the badge detachable? Hoping to save buying a replacement grille. Thanks guys.
