    Just a quick update with this..
     
    Got the clutch changed over on Thursday and noise has completely gone, so was definitely the bearing causing the issue. Nice to have a new clutch at 40k, but also annoying that it needed changing at 40k!

    Thought I'd post a quick update on this.
     
    Had it resolved yesterday as the VAG specialists just gave the back wheels a service (re-grease, dust cleanup etc) and it's totally fixed. He said there was basically no brake lubricant on one of them.
     
    Glad to have the annoying noise solved
