  1. I have one spare. I ordered it from skoda and was told it would fit my 230. It's designed for the variable floor and not the shaped floor of mine so not used. Only been out the packet and then wrapped up again. Part no. 5E9061310 Was for sale in classified.
  2. I have no need for the roof are so happy without and not looked at other options I was told the first ones off the line were for dealer demos and that's why they didn't have the bars. I also got the £250 voucher and used for Smartlink and a boot mat. Although I ordered the wrong one for a variable floor and dealer Wouldn't take it back so is not in my garage looking a new owner

  7. Ordered mine. It was on back order for about a weeks and a half. Had it done Friday. £135 and took about 20 mins
  8. Don't buy the dealers Gap. I saved over 200 quid going to another company. Didn't get Return to invoice I got replacement vehicle so it will pay out the cost of replacing the vehicle to the same spec and not invoice price as this may be lower than replacing the car
  9. I must be one of the lucky ones who got a 230 on 0% !
  10. Didn't want them anyway once I saw it. Like it without so the £250 is a bonus.
  11. Phone call from skoda today about missing roofrail saga They would like to offer £250 of skoda credit to spend in the network as a gesture of goodwill for no roof rails. This will nicely go towards the smart link code when released !
  12. Congrats on the Pass Suzuki Bandit ! Quality bike very forgiving and loads of parts available for them. Also for 4K you can get a nice one, and loads of them always for sale. I've had mine 3 years and still love it. Also a comfortable riding position, used to ride sports but at 41 and a bartered body I can't do it anymore. Lol.
  13. Codes will be released to dealer in a couple of months for Smartlink so i have been told by SUK. WIll cost £150 to activate as its a option at factory build time. Mine was pre-built for dealer and not activated so am waiting for code
  14. Peugeot 306DT, Civic Type R (EP3), Audi A3, Octavia Blackline , to current Octavia RS230
  15. Apparently the mounts and holes are under the roof skin and small holes are drilled in the roof so bolts can go in threads under the skin
  16. Skoda rang again today and have offered to have the bars fitted if I want them and have said there was an error at the factory. But the brochure is for European models that shows the roof rails in all pictures no mention of UK models in it. They now want an answer about if I want them fitting. Well I'm used to it without now but at least they have admitted its a factory error. They also said that in about 2 months the factory will releas the smartilink codes to dealers.
  17. Update on the roof rails missing. Was Phoned today and they have now passed the issue to the "branding " department and SUK are involved so it must have been skoda customer service originally ? Another call due Friday from them. So far they have called every time they say they will.
  18. So SUK rang me today about my email regarding the Missing Roof Bars. They said that they were an option in the VRS brochure, and i stated that they needed to check the VRS230 brochure. He then asked what date my brochure was (Sept 15) as my car was built in June an he would have to check the earlier brochure(interesting if he can find it) to make sure they were listed like they are in the Sept issue. I now wait for an answer on the 14th when he is phone back with an answer about them. Then we will see what they will do about it if they will compensate me ? lol. I dont want them on as i like it without but that is not the point as theymay have a build error and see what they will do.
  19. Hello and welcome to the forum
  20. Tyreshopper.co.uk Always been good for me and no fuss. Choose, book centre , pay, drive in , drive out.
  21. Further to my thread about no roof rails on my RS230 i emailed SUK and my Dealer and got this back . SUK replied quicker than my dealer who have still yet to reply i hasten to add. The specifications on our website are for information purposes only. Due to the ever-changing nature of the information we receive from the factory, it is not possible to provide exact specifications for the vehicles shown. However, our Network of Approved Skoda Retailers is regularly updated with specification changes and model data from the Czech Republic. Our website advises customers to check availability and specification details with an Approved Retailer before committing to an order for the reasons stated above. The fact that all other RS230 Estates i have seen have the rails it must be a factory C*&K up . Do i have cause for a official complaint or compensation? I also asked about the Smartlink as my car was already built and as a demonstrator for the dealership and sat in Grimsby (Before i bought it) and the headunit says to get a code from dealer The Smartlink cannot be retro fit, the Factory are unable to confirm if a retrofit solution will be available at this stage.
  22. Many Thanks...worked a treat
