My kids were overenthusiastic in pulling the rear door roller blind open and now it won't roll back again. It seems to have gone beyond the stop, now I can't pull it any further to reengage the roll back mechanism. An ideas on how I could fix this? Danitop

Italian Superb driver here! Superbs are a rarity in my town of 60,000 people, I've seen maybe two or three, of which one was a taxi. It's quite common to see Octavias, Yetis and Rapids, but as you go up the tree, brand snobbery sets in. You see any number of lower specced Audi A4s and BWW 3 series, and despite the Superb's obvious advantages, the drivers inevitably look down on it. I care not, and glide serenely along in my L&K! Driving in Germany and France, Superbs are much more common!

I think the facelift is just what what's needed to keep the Superb's exterior fresh to 2015. Tidy grille and stripey LED lights at the rear. But apart from the logo on the steering wheel, the interior looks identical. Note that the L&K now has beige seating rather than dark brown. That's OK: means my current L&K in dark brown/magnetic brown will become even more exclusive :-D Checking out the specs in the toy department, there isn't much new: - parking assist now has "reverse perpendicular parking" as well as parallel parking - Driver Activity Assistant which I assume is the "coffee time" symbol that pops up on the Maxi DOT when you wobble the steering wheel too much :-) - "front passenger seat can also be easily moved from the rear electronically" - ???sounds like a recipe for trouble with kids seated in the back? Everything else is already available as standard or an option. I'd have expected an upgrade to the Columbus??

I second mbeadle's comments here. I too have the L&K in magnetic brown with brown interior, and can confirm it's very classy. I really like the variations in the colour according to the light. I was sceptical about the brown insides, but it turned out to be much darker than the photos seen around the web. Go for it!

Not 100% sure, but try looking in the manual to see if the electric tailgate has its own fuse. Then extracting that from the fuse box will give you a quick solution.

After much dithering, I went for the Magnetic Brown, judging only by the dealer's colour swatches. I finally took delivery of the car last Tuesday, and it's really spot on for the L&K. The shade is very dark brown, but the actual effect varies with the light, I was even asked if it was black! It's a very elegant colour, which makes the car unique.

Hi, soon-to-be Skoda newby here. I've got a L&K estate on order with most add-ons, in magnetic brown colour. Delivery expected end January... Before ordering I dithered a lot about the colour choice, as I have always had a succession of black or silver cars. Brown is definitely a departure for me, but I thought it was the best choice with brown interiors. One dealer had those colour swatch squares and the magnetic brown seemed to vary a lot according to the way light falls on it and the angle you look at it. I rather liked the effect, ranging from almost black to bronze. Looking forward to becoming a regular forum contributor when the car arrives!

I've got a Superb 2.0 TDI DSG with L&K spec on order since last week. Quoted delivery is end January which means three months or so. Certainly less than 6 months, but I still think it's a long time! Daniele
