  1. Was in Bish Vegas but been in Shildon for the last three years, red 04 Fabia VRS. You might see it driving to/from Newcastle as I work up there.
  2. Thanks Jed. Ah, well serviced.....think the plan just fell down Although it does at very least get an oil and filter change every 8 months or thereabouts.
  3. Hello all, been a member of the forum for several years but only posted a couple of times. My name's Anth and I'm a project director for a design agency in the North East. I've owned my red '04 Fabia VRS for four-ish years now and love it, but I may be about to get a company car - haven't made my mind up whether to sell the Fabia or stick it in the garage and have a play with it yet (it's got 150k on it so I'm not going to make my fortune if I sell it!). Cheers, Anth.
  4. This guide was a massive help - first time I've worked on a car in years as I've got out of the habit, but managed to change the discs and pads without major trauma! And including purchase of tools and supplies, cost me £51 all-in (fitted cheap-ish discs and pads as I'm selling the car).
  5. Hi all, I've got an 04 Fabia VRS with a ridiculously grotty interior. I've got a chance of an Octavia VRS interior, just wondered if anyone had attempted to fit one of these before. I know the back seats will be a job (and a half, possibly), but is there anything that makes the job very difficult/impossible? Cheers, Anth.
  6. Just thought I'd introduce myself - I've been signed up since I bought my car 5 months ago but haven't posted yet! My name's Anth Knight and I'm creative head of a design agency in County Durham. I've had more cars than you can shake a stick at over the years including many classic and American motors, but reality has finally bit recently as I now commute a fair distance every day. I've had my 04 Fabia VRS for four or five months now and I love it! It's really quick for a diesel, drives very well and doesn't do bad on the juice either. It needs some work (mainly interior) but once the weather improves I'm going to try and get it all sorted. I also paint as a sideline, mainly oils but other media when I'm in the mood. If you get a chance have a look at my facebook page:- https://www.facebook.com/pages/Designosaur73/128523147224822 Cheers, Anth.
