  1. Hi goneoffski, their was some noise on the Roomster but not as bad as on the Fab, opening of the windows is for the benefit of the dogs, otherwise would not be open. thanks for your comments Honeycroft
  2. Hi all, just purchased a new fab estate and very pleased with the overall car, one problem I have found is when the rear windows are open and the speed is more than 30mph there is a drumming noise from the wind inside the car and the higher the speed the louder it gets, any one found this with other models and how did they get rid of it,I was looking at window wind/rain deflectors but not sure if this would solve the problem. not something you think about when having a test drive. not a big problem but one which is spoiling a good motor. 3. Hi Togo, can you remember the company you purchased from on ebay, regards.
  4. I have bought my new 2012 Roomster 1.2 se from Mitchells 2 week ago I had been looking to change my Vauxhall and been there before but never really took a lot of interest in Skoda until a few weeks back when I had seen a couple of Roomsters being driven around while on holiday.what i liked about Mitchells is that you are free to look around without the dreaded salesman hanging around waiting to jump in, I was made wecome and felt that I was part of the happy family they are trying to create which is nice. I was helped in choosing the right car by a guy called Dave Alexander who was brilliant throughout the transaction. we tried varies models in the Roomster range until I found the right one and then Dave checked around and found the right deal through Skoda.. Dave is a great person and very informative he gave me a great price on trading in my car and then battled with his boss to get a good price for me which im thrilled about. on collecting the car the transation was made easy and we (wife) were in and out within half an hour and then Dave surprised us both by presenting my wife with a lovely flower arrangment. what treatment second to none, every one I know will be told about Mitchell and would recommend every time. many thanks Mitchells of Cheshire Oaks
  5. Hi all, new member just joined, purchased my Roomster two weeks ago and enjoying every bit of it, I did have a 07 Vauxhall Zafira 1.9 engine but wanted to change to a smaller MPV and the Roomster is just the job, my question is I would like to fit a centre arm rest for the extra comfort while driving, I have asked at Skoda for a price and looked on the web sites and there is a big difference in cost ranging from £30.00 to £90.00 on e-bay and £135.00 from skoda, has anybody purchased an armrest and who would they recommend. look forward to your replies.
