On Drivers side you have the washing bottle in the way guys so going through the side dont work as easily described. Soz for getting FL mixed up D

Vrs84 don't listen to them, I did and have up twice as I just couldn't do it - in the end I was so angry I could only do it removing whole bumper... If u have lady hands, screws which arnt seized and bags of patience then maybe... Otherwise bumper off - done this 2 months ago...

Pollen filter needs changing yearly which helps but ultimately it's still bad

I spent ages looking for one second have as new they were £75... Got one for £50. Pig of a job too, while bumper off despite what anybody says on here...

Hi, Vrs mk2 56 plate Just started to notice big whine from engine, it only stops when I put air con mode to econ and then nothing.... What can it be? Airccon pump ? Bearing ? Thanks in advance Dave

Hi all Attempt 2 of replacing a smashed fog light on oct vrs mk2... Drivers side was impossible to do via front grill so in the end it was bumper off job by, quite a few plastic clips/bolts need replacing as they are terrible to remove without breaking. Defiantly not a small job - plenty of swearing..... Almost wished I paid a garage to do it... Feel angry but relieved at the same time...

Chris - your more than welcome to show me - located in hertfordshire..... lol - no way is that coming out!! lol Engine cover seemed welded on lol - was removed ok and airfilter was changed, looked like it hadnt been changed for a long time.

Theres no way it happens like that. lol the drivers side foggy.... it has the washer tank in the way, horn and space is so restricted you cant get a ratchet on the screws.... cant even see them...

FFS Near impossible lol I failed lol Horrible car lol My god, removed the front grill - removed the under carriage.... There was no way I was getting to those 3 screws... Washer bottle in the way, moved the horn... Still nothing. Garage job. :-( In other news removing the air filter was also very difficult but this was done Modern cars arnt any fun to work on
