What is the effect on the car if you remap it without removing the EGR?

Cheers! Do you have to do the EGR delete when you remap it or can you remap the car without the EGR delete? Sorry if these are stupid questions but im new to vRS ownership! lol

So is there absolutely no way of turning off the engine light on a BLT engine thats been remapped with an EGR delete?

Not currently a biker but i have a lot to do with bikes and bike racing! Hopefully gonna do my bike license in the next 12 months or may just get myself a MX bike to play on

I got my vRS on friday and havent seen another one yet :(

Having done a quick search, i came across two other topics from people who had the same issue with the wobbling at idle and both came back to say it is a characteristic of the newer BLT engine. I can live with it lol

I bought a 56 plate vRS on friday with 68000 miles on the clock and i too have noticed that every now and then, on idle in nuetral it shakes! Almost like it is ticking over on really really low revs but the rev counter doesnt move....Wondering if i may need a trip back in to Skoda myself.....

Me too cos i wanted a red one originally but couldnt find a nice enough one and yellow was my second choice! haha

I already thought mine was a pretty good price so im fairly happy. I wonder if the less popular colours that are around today may be more sort after in a few years

hmm think im going to have to wait until i pick it up tomorrow! Mine looks brighter to me than yours but its down as Lemon on the spec but has colour coded door handles! lol

I dont think the handles have been painted, it was an old guy who owned it and i got it from the dealership but you never know. So which is the fainter yellow and which is the brighter yellow? Heres another pic from the original advert...

Yeah... i find that pictures can be misleading though depending on lighting?

Mine is a 56 plate and im not sure which yellow it is. I can find loads of topics on the yellows but none make it clear which colour is which! :/

What year did they change the yellow to the darker yellow?

Mine is standard at the moment and as the wheels are mint, im thinking of sticking some coilovers on it and powdercoating the wheels black...think it just makes it that little bit more agressive than lookin like a banana haha

Hey guys, New to the forum and just bought myself a lovely yellow vRS which i collect on Friday. Just a general topic for discussion really as i havent seen too many yellow ones about, whats your opinion on them? In the land of Skoda, is yellow not as popular as other colours or do people like the yellow ones? I personally like it as wanted something a bit less common than black or silver and it should work well with black wheels when i get some. Thanks
