  1. My Fabia II have same symptoms. Mechanic said I need replace the DMS and the clutch kit. What was the problem in your case?
  2. 0W-xx engine oils are better for short trips and cold engine starts, so I'm using Mobil 1 New Life 0W-40. It's a classic ACEA A3/B4 full SAPS engine oil with very good parameters in the technical datasheet. The 11,8 TBN number is one of the best on the market for a good price (ca. 8-9 € / liter). So, if you driving short trips, and you starting the cold engine many times in a day, this is a very good oil for your usage. Another good one is Motul 8100 X-lite 0W-30, but it's more expensive (12-15 € / liter).
  3. The engines are same, the difference is only in software, and in some countries (I know about CZ and SK) the 105hp version have better rear brakes. The CBZA map is for the the 86hp and the CBZB is the 105hp version. If you have the 86hp version you can tune your engine to 105hp without risk.
  4. naxtek: - You can't start the engine in D or R. This is a normal safety feature in every automatic transmission. - You can use the N, but it's not the best for your fuel consumption and because you don't use the engines brake power, it also means more abrasion for your brake pads. When you slowing on D, the fuel injection not working, your actual consumption is zero. You can check it on board computer.
