  1. Thanks for the interest, I'll PM Stew as he was first. If for some reason it falls through I'll let you know Mr24
  2. Happy to do that. Let me know what you want to do.
  3. Just standard apart from all the front bushes are power flex. It does the job, just caused too many creaks and bangs for me to put up with
  4. Condition is good but they have been used so not immaculate. Bought these last year from Matt1chelski. Have used them over that period but have had the originals refurbed and gone back to them. The originals have a better ride over our so called norfolk roads. They are all straight with no buckles and no kerbing. There are marks in the surface finish so not perfect but when clean do look good. The trouble is, being white they are very hard to get back to perfect white so have very slightly discoloured from brake dust. The tyres are Yokohama Parada, they are all very close to, if not on the wear markers so don't expect to go very far on them. The pics are as they came off the car, I might feel generous and and throw some water over them for the lucky buyer. Fitted to a 2005 Fabia. Diss, Norfolk. £200 collected
  5. Had this about a year, was only fitted for about 6 months as it made the ride just too crashy. Definitely made the front end feel a bit sharper but for the majority of the Norfolk roads we use it sounded like the wheels were about to fall off due to the rustic nature of them. I sprayed it green, could do with being touched up if you want perfection. Located in Diss, Norfolk 2005 Fabia VRS BLT Collection £50
  6. Bought one, all it did was turn me in to a stressed creak and rattle hunting idiot. Made everything that already made a noise when going over bumps much louder and created many more opportunities for things that didn't rattle before to rattle. I am slightly OCD when it comes to rattles and squeaks though.
  7. I have only skimmed the thread, going on your expert diagrams I can't see how she has any possible way of arguing anything other than her fault.
  8. This is the cover removal how to http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/154853-fabia-vrs-seat-cover-removal/ To remove the seat you need a special splined bit. There are four to remove, once out I tipped the whole seat back a bit which allows you to disconnect the heated seat and airbag plugs. If you disconnect the battery first you shouldn't upset the airbag system.
  9. The drivers side heated seat hasn't worked for a while and I hadn't bothered with it over summer as it didn't seem worth the hassle. I had done quite a bit of fault finding using old posts on here. Checked the switch, checked the feed to the seat using a multi meter and it showed there was power going to the seat. Today I decided to remove the seat and get in amongst it. After unplugging the airbag and seat heating plugs the seat came out and I used the seat cover removal guide to get down to the heater element. This is the seat section completely out of the seat, on inspection the wire element has fractured and has burnt out result being a dead heating element. Stripped the wires and soldered them. Covered the join in a few layers of insulation tape and tucked it back in to a pleat. Put it in the car uncovered with the rest of the seat and plugged it in to test. It got hot, so left it for a while to make sure there weren't any fires!! Took it out and put the cover on(hog rings suck ass btw) and then put the whole lot back in to the car. I was lucky that the break was easy to fix and could be kept away from being sat on too much. Tested it a few times since and it seems to run very similarly to the passenger side so good news. Not a difficult job just awkward.
  10. I've trawled old threads so know what's what, my problem is with the mythical drain hole that's supposed to be in the area under the wipers under the ecu. The rubber bung type thing that when removed allows all the gunk and crap to come pouring out. I've removed everything that's in the way and there is no sign of any kind of rubber/plastic bung. I'm now going to have to remove the wipers and all that crap in order to clear the **** that's in there. Am I being blind or did this never exist on the VRS?
  11. What sort of mileage have they covered? How much of a drop does it give the suspension?
  12. Something else I don't need but just found far too hard not to buy
