  1. To add to this: on two occasions, after wet and windy weather, I have found all 4 windows open. Both times the car was parked at home and the key in a drawer. First time I put it down to forgetful old me. But it happened two days ago in the height of driving rain and gale force winds at night. Is there a sensor/relay that is prone to this? Thanks.
  2. Many thanks for your reply. Have tried the switch you mention, with the child locks deselected, and ----- no luck.
  3. As far as I can see I only have the child lock setting on each rear door. Put both to "normal " but didn't make any difference. There is no reference to any safety interlock with child lock/cigarette lighter in the manual so I'm no further forward. Many thanks for your answer.
  4. Superb Elegance 2009. Both of my internal cigarette lighter sockets have no power. The one in the boot is fine. I have checked the fuse identified on the fuse list and it is OK. Any ideas? Just how hard do you have to pull to remove a side light? Assuming it IS a straight push/pull fit?
  5. Hello, Not sure if I'm in the right place but here goes. I have a 2009 Superb Elegance DSG 170HP. Both cigarette lighters in the cabin have stopped working; I have checked the fuse, it's OK. The 12v outlet in the boot is OK. My other problem is my fuel filler cover will not open. It's operated by a spring - you push in to release. Any ideas on how to release it?
