I have done the tie arms about a year ago ,they may be faulty but I bought non genuine ones at the time. Abit more info on the noise it's is still at moderate steering lock only at slow speeds I.e 20 mph or there abouts The noise is only present when turning when accelerating aswell , if I turn without accelerating the noise is not there.

I've searched numerous times, a lot of the threads are similar but not exactly the symptoms I have

I have checked the website you supplied and it said there is no outstanding recalls

Hi I'm having a issue with my fabia Monte Carlo 1.6tdi. The steering has lately been quite noisy. The noise I'm getting is a loud whoooing/groaning when moving left or right with moderate steering lock at low speeds. The noise is quite audible with the window down ,I've checked the power steering fluid level and that's fine. I also turned the car lock to lock when not moving and there is no noise. Any commen know issues? Thanks

Not a lot has changed on this I had issues on the air suspension so I upgraded the front struts. I've changed the side repeaters to orange ones. New struts: Orange repeaters : One of the latest photos :

So things have changed . I bought this : Which now looks like this :

Had mine for 2 and a half years it's on 80k , main problems have been the air con pump went and the water pump started leaking other than that it's been general maintance things

My polo gti interior

Well it's changed again I couldn't live with the buckets as a daily so manged to get a polo gti 5dr interior. I have also removed the team momo steering wheel and looking for a newer style fabia wheel to fit.

The rails were universal. I made my own base plate and put them on that then in the car. I have sold them now and have a different interior again it's not 100% finished yet

Hi I have a annoying knock which occurs when the cars been sitting for a few hours and I move it with a steering lock on to the left ,It also occurs when I've been driving for a while and I pull up at home and reverse once again with a full left hand lock on. If the steering lock is not fully on this knock will not happen the knock is also a single knock as tho something has jumped and can be quite loud. The car itself is a fabia 1.6tdi,on coilovers,polybushes on lower arms and gearbox mount , just fitted new drop links , new tie arms last year -aftermarket. I have also checked suspenion for play and there is none . Any help on this ? Thanks louie
