  1. Now sold and off to have a new life as a track day car.
  2. The engine, clutch pack and gear box were replaced inside of warranty and have been fine up until this point. As I say it is getting to the point were I've spent a fair bit of cash on it in the last 12 months and justifying spending more when I can can get something new/newer.
  3. Make & Model: Fabia VRS with knackered DSG gearbox Colour: Rallye Green body, Black roof Mileage: 144000 Price: Been offered £500 scrap value but I'm sure someone here might be able to make better use of her as a project or for spares as I'd to see it crushed. Description: A 2011 Fabia VRS with 144k on the clock. (had new engine, clutch pack and gear box at 32k under warranty) Condition: Used Service History/Receipts/Recent Service work: Full service history. Recently had 4 new Avon ZV7's, instrument cluster repaired, serviced (July), new water pump, radiator, aircon regas, wishbones, coil packs in the last 12 months Extras: Mods: Lowering springs Shipping: Hmmm well collection only and your need a loader/trailer to get it to where it needs to go Collection: KT15 2SW Pictures: Ci2bx3GXEAAHrFD.jfif
  4. Just signed up so will get some info up tomorrow. Along with pictures as it looks better in the light!
  5. Been quoted £500 by a local breaker to come and collect. So I'd be after something similar.
  6. Evening all, A long term lurker here after some advise. I've had a Fabia VRS from new. After 11 years and 144k of motoring (and needless to say after putting 4 new Avon tyres on and having a full service) the gear box spanner appeared in the display and it now won't move. She is currently sat on the driveway looking very sad. It has been decided that I can't plough anymore cash into it and need to get something sensible (that term sensible hasn't been defined yet!) so do I scrap it or advertise it on here, ebay etc? I was thinking about breaking it but ideally just want it gone. Cheers,
