Hi everyone New guy here with a Octavia Ambience 1.9 tdi; current mileage 502,000..still returning 65 mpg on a steady run. I am trying to find a replacement air con compressor as mine has died. Am I right in thinking that as long as I match up all the codes and the model number (1233) it will be compatible even if it is off a petrol engine? 🤔 Many thanks in advance..

Hi all I am running a mk 1 Octavia 1.9 tdi that keeps slipping in and out of limp mode. Error codes 19461-17957-17946 are repeated every time the diagnostics are plugged in. I have replaced the fuel cut off solenoid to no avail. My motor has now started to make a loud buzzing sound immediately after I turn off the ignition that lasts for approximately 20 seconds. On a previous thread I read mention of a dodgy relay associated with these fault codes. Can anyone shed light on my plight? Malc1957
