Thanks all - very helpful.

I have removed my spare wheel and all the fittings, but do not know what part/s I need to make the new boot floor flat and neat. An old thread on this site suggests a polystyrene insert but I can't find details and an email to Allams has drawn a blank. Can anyone help? Chris

Well, that is what one would expect and hope from a website dedicated to the Yeti! I suspect there are many contributors to this forum who could do better.

I have some as-new silver trim spare. £30

Yes, definitely poor in my opinion. I got stuck down a track this week and struggled to reverse out. My solution was to put on the brakes every few feet - the brake lights are brighter!

I agree - it has lost its distinctiveness. Also think this is the right forum as it's a direct competitor to the Yeti and of interest to current or prospective Yeti drivers

Ahh. The steering wheel! Thank you - hadn't thought of that one. The pic was taken in the Yorkshire Dales while on holiday there two weeks ago - and where the the cornering lights proved to be a great help.

Can someone tell me why only one light is on? I am used to parking lights being controlled by the indicator - but this has a life of its own.

Silver dash trim for sale - removed on the day I received the new Yeti (replaced with wood trim). £30 ono (inc postage). contact Chris on [email protected]

Stuck a few blinging bits on mine too - but stopped short of the side steps. Looking to get some metalic strips on the door side strips tho' - significantly cheaper way of adding some drama to the side.

I noticed on the picture thread that some new Yetis have silver inserts within the black door side strips. Are these standard now, or extras? Can they be fitted retrospectively? Think it would just finish off the mods to my black Yeti

some interesting news on Skoda's plans for the Yeti replacement: http://www.carmagazine.co.uk/Secret-new-cars/Search-Results/Spyshots/Skoda-plots-two-new-MPVs-two-SUVs/
