Hello all, I have had a VRS for 4 months now and have had to top it up with oil twice aswell as a service in between with a full oil change.. Ive done about 4000miles since owning this.... There are no oil patches where i park though..... Is this normal? Thanks

Its a loud whistling noise that it makes (only at 4500 and above) and only on full throttle...

Company called auto tints near grimsby. (Im east side of uk) they r on facebook. Was chatting to the bloke while he was doing it.. decent bloke!. I only went for the 20% but think it looks just right for my needs

Just sounds so crap. Every other induction kit ive had for other cars has mad a deep roaring noise. Least i can feel an improvement in performance i guess.

Had mine done saturday. Only £130 for b pillars back. Top job done and looks amazing. Had mine done so our 18month old son didnt get blinded ha ha. Will put a pic on when i get 30 mins to wash it.

Hello all, I recently fitted a typhoon induction kit to my car. Problem is that when its on full throttle at 4500rpm and over there is a loud whistling noise. Has anyone else got an induction kit or could anyone shed some light into the problem? Thanks

Thought id share my 1st modification for my Octy. Just had the rear windows tinted aswell but weather isnt the best to show that

Well i rang skoda and part is £13 so luckily not too expensive...apperently they have had 6 broken in the last month...

Hello. My vrs came with demons and I find the full (high) beam bulbs a bit crap. Has anyone replaced them? If so what with? Thanks for your help JT

Hello all. I have had my tfsi for almost 2 months now and fancy a little more noise from the engine. When I went to auto sport Motorsport show I viewed piper cross and K&N stands. K&n claim their typhoon gives an extra 18bhp and the piper cross stand was pretty unhelpful. Now to me the improvement in bhp k&n claim seems a lot but can anyone back that claim? Or does anyone recommend a good induction kit? Thanks JT

I have had mine 2 months now and love it. I have a 56 plate in blue, with zenons, cruise, 18s, and reverse sensors. I had a 120 mile run to and from York the other week and got 41.2mpg and that was sticking to the speed limits and not driving like Mrs daisy. On my daily commute to work and back I get 34mpg and its a twisty 14 mile journey one way. If you use the performance a lot though don't expect to see above 28mpg. The 1st week I had the car I used a full tank of fuel in 220 miles..... I had a new shape civic diesel before this and can easily say the octy seats are better in comfort and support. The gear box is extremely smooth. My mate who has a 12 plate A4 s-line recons my gearbox is smoother than his. I am a converted Skoda fan! And so is the Mrs.

Thanks for all the welcome messages. Have ordered the official VRS Mats (It had fitted rubber mats in but they are to slippery for my liking) I will be adding a few pics of it at the weekend after a decent wash and some sunlight lol Does anyone recommend any decent polish?? I didnt bother with the Last car (Civic) as it wasnt loveable. Also does this club have any meets lined up for 2013? Cheers for your help JT

Hello. I have just (4 hours ago) bought and driven home a 56 plate Octavia VRS 2.0T and am still smilling about it!!! I had a civic diesel before it... and before that a Astra sport hatch (formerly a member of Astra owners club) and can honestly say (even after 4hrs) the octavia is the best car i have owned! I am looking for the following though: Matts, re-map, exhaust, a sat nav head unit, and some nice rear sun shields so my lad isnt blinded. Please could someone help me?? Thanks for your time JT
