I have a more or less nearly new standard MY12 VRS CR170 with no Sat Nav, BT, Maxidot or MDI. Do I:- 1) Build up my car using VAG parts, Columbus, BT Kit, MDI Kit, etc or 2) Buy a Kenwood DNX-520VBT. I accept that I will use some interface functionality on the climate control settings but what should I do, need to make a decision soon as I need my phone for business use. I have had some great advice so far from fellow members but the costs are rising and I can get the Kenwood for £595 all in.

Well picked up the new motor, drove from Leeds to Newcastle and then back home, all I can say is wow!! Enough said.

After only a few days on here, I already feel at home, sound advice from forum members keeping me on the straight and narrow. Spoke to Shark today, all systems go for some serious bling in the new year. New car tomorrow, can't wait. One question though, matt or gloss black wheels?

Are there dealers who will carry out this mod with a supplied part and recode as necessary or will they just fob you off? -

How easy is it to retrofit, how expensive and is it worth it in the long run? -
Pick up my VRS CR TDi in White next week but want to add some additional equipment:- 1. Bluetooth connectivity to Blackberry 9780 Bold. 2. Satnav. 3. Acoustic Reversing Sensors. Does anyone know of any good installers of OEM products around the TS area. Looking forward to enjoying my first Skoda/VW experience. Regards
