You rectify something only for another problem to appear

I hope so mate. The angled blade is on the passenger side of the screen ? -
Just done the pollen filter repair and cannot get the screen trim to mate properly. Is this a problem as there seems to be a 2-3mm gap between screen and trim ?

'Water Ingress Problem'........SOLVED!
bussty replied to Baker21's topic in Skoda Superb Mk I (2001-2008)
I know this subject is as stale as an old loaf of bread but when resealing the filter housing are you removing the old seal then filling with sealant or sealing over the old seal ? -

That famous online auction website is always a good start. -
Wanting smaller sized wheels for a better ride ?
bussty replied to bussty's topic in Skoda Superb Mk I (2001-2008)
Thanks for the info. I've got them at 2.4/2.2 bar as recommended on the petrol flap but feel every small bump on the road. It shouldn't be too hard finding a tidy set for sale as people tend to want the larger wheel size for the looks. -
Yep I have the same wheels on mine and they were an optional extra.
-
Have a feeling the dealers have discontinued them now. They only had the boot liners listed when I popped in before Christmas.

emissions workshop light on info panel
bussty replied to Big J54's topic in Skoda Superb Mk I (2001-2008)
Had this on mine in December. Tiptronic box wouldn't select gear properly and Skoda diagnosed a switch on the transmission. When questioned about the 'Emissions Workshop' light the head technician told me it was how the diagnostic circuit is wired up. So it might be something you wouldn't expect. -
No. I was recommending the Superb Tiptronic to a newbie and trying to be informative. This post has gone from shall I buy one to removing parts from engines to improve MPG. Surely that's for another post isn't it.

As a wise old man once said. 'If it isn't broke, don't fix it'.

When I fill it up the computer tells me it will cover 495 miles and they are never accurate so 400 seems about right to me. I only use the car around the town so I suppose just motorway driving would get me closer to the 500 mark.
