Have just used the me muscle treatment on my Octivia TDi that has been suffering with limp home mode for most of the last 80,000 miles of its 166,000 miles. At around 100,000 a garage removed the turbo and rebuilt it along with new mas and although this made life better it still did not cure it. Now its like the car was when new, and will rev in most gears towards the rev limiter speed limits alowing. Dave.

Pat Did the same trick the other day, the plastic clip that links the drive wires from the electric moter to the bottom of the glass holder brake. I purchased a seconh hand assemble less the moter for £30.00 inc vat, but have since found on ebay a kit containing the required parts for £10 to £15. an easy job to fix either way when you have the door card off and carfully pealed back the waterproof membrain. On a octavia 110 TDI AFH engine, the glow plug light go stright out on trying to start, with no voltage goint to the plugs untill the engine has started than gives voltage for several minutes without the glow plug light showing, then have tryed unplugging the coolant senser, this keepes the glow plug light on on the dash and voltage to the plugs for a time, the engine starts easly with the plug light going out but still suplying power to the plugs for warm up. Have fitted a new coolant senser but still the same folt. The temperture gauge has been working fine all along.
