Hey. Sorry for OT, but is there a possibility to make a "how to" for fitting the mk2 mirrors on the mk1? And are the indicators working?

One question about this whole thing. Does a Golf IV/Bora or Seat Leon or Audi A3 8L windscreen wiper mechanism and motor fit into a O1 Octy? Because I'm gonna need to find a replacement soon (my wipers started to go really slow) And around here Golf parts are much easier to find. Milan

Is it possible to to install injectors from a 110hp TDI into an 90hp ALH engine? WOuld that make any difference? I have the posibility to get some low mileage injectors from an ASV engine for a good price. And after I'd go for a remap.

I've done th Mr. Muscle treatment to my wifes Seat Leon 1M1 with ASV engine. No limp mode anymore. Tried it in 4th gear up to 170km/h and no engine light anymore. And engine is responsive as never before. My wife's happy and i'm happy that's she's happy Thanks Lofty I'd buy you a :beer: but you're out of reach....

Than I have another question about it...will shark remap a new map for free or how much will that cost after an unlocked unit is obtained?

I have a vRS bumper on my TDI. The hight is same, but it seems and feels a little lower, as the lower part face forwards as the non-vRS bumper lower part is bend backwards. But the vRS bumper fits only to a FL Octy. On a pre-FL Octy is the entire front end different and it doesn't fit. If you want a vRS bumper on a non.FL, you have to change the headlights, front grill, front panel and maybe some more

@Mrcd you forgot to tell what's the budget for the HU.

Heated garage is an idea. Just add some pipeline on exhaust to get smoke outside the garage so you don't kill yourself at trying it

I thought the CityGo badges were 85mm diameter and Octavia 1 logo is 80mm diameter...so it doesn't fit into the front grill without a modification...anyone correct me please if I'm wrong.

I think at this moment anything i make will make the Octy handle better. Now it drives klike an oceanliner over the bumbs on turns 250000km of punishement on the original suspension has done the job well :p
