Just a quick question dose the octavia have two alarms the horn and a siren under the wheel arch if so should he alarm beep when being armed and disarmed As mine doesn't and only the horn sounds when the alarm goes off

No to the seats And ye the alarm works I've noticed that it drains when I fully arm the car when I double press the alarm it doesn't seem to do drain the battery

Hi all Sorry but can any one help me I have got up this morning and the battery is nearly flat again I don't know why it is doing this the battery is new as the other had gone And I have sorted the problem that I had earlier with the stereo taking power. The only problem that I still have is this clicking noise that comes from the passenger foot well but can't ding any thing. It starts to click after you have turn the engine off and the car has been sat for a while. If I press the alarm sensor button next the driver seat it does stop then starts again five to ten minutes later. Any help would be fab

Yes it's when it's on full lock and at low speeds and it's a 06 plate vrs I thought cv but was not sure. As it doesn't sound like the normal cv joint problem.

Hi all Quick question I have a grinding noise from the front drives wheel when on full lock but only turning to the left. The big question is I can't seen anything grinding. Any help would be grate

hi all sorry if this has been covered before I've just reset the service timer on my 06 petrol vrs and after holding in the reset button two numbers came up. one with the spanner saying 10600 this is I guess the amount of miles till its next service the other one was a three digit number with a clock next to it. has any one got any ideas of what these are thanks

Hi my count down for the service came on saying 4600 then went down a bit but now there is no number just the spanner flashing but not done the miles. What does this mean all I have now is the spanner flashing with no count down miles.

Hi sorry it's long my service count down has come up but not sure what needs doing the mileage is 96 345 and the count down for next service is in 4000 miles so it will be 100 000 miles well just over. But the car has already had a big service at 59,837 looking at the log book engine oil, inspection, air filter and spark plugs and also to 90 000 km is ticked. than 73 thow tooth belt done and belt tensioner. I've done plugs oil change and filter and fuel filter in the last year when car was at 91 thow. So i don't know what to do when this service reaches 0 any help

Hi I have a noise on the front drivers side on full lock but only when turning left but mine sounds more like something rubbing or grinding noise bit can't find a cause. Don't know if it could be the same problem if I find out will put on a post. Good luck

If it's anything like my 2.0l petrol vrs I found it easy to undo the air intake. At the front and back and unplug the air sensor. Then starting at the back pull the right side up then the left then the front the air filter is in the back held in with screws. That's for the vrs but can't see it being much different for the 1.6 petrol

No the unit I bought was from China it's a es1089eu from ebay if any one take a look and see if I need to change the cam bus and what too
