Hello, My Fabia Monte Carlo has just been in the dealership for its 10,000 miles service. I notified them of a issue i was noticing with the car while i was accelerating and they said they would look into it, however when picking the car up they said they didn't notice anything when they were driving it. Every day i commute about 20 miles to work and back again, throughout the journey between 2 or 3 times on average when i'm accelerating the power seems to momentarily cut out 3 or 4 times in sequence for just a brief second each time, normally when i have just changed gear and begin to accelerate. It can happen in any gear. Has anyone ever suffered from something similar? Thanks in advance

I'm 25 and my partner is 27 and we bought a new Skoda Monte Carlo last year, seriously considering the new face lift yeti next year. I work as an Instructor for Land Rover Experience but we could do with another 4 wheel drive car. The 4x4 yeti should be perfect!

I thought of that as well, however its right on the drivers door only a couple of inches from the door handle. Before work that morning, i got in the car then went to the fuel station before work. So i am sure i would notice it, well i hope i would!

Thanks for your replies, got the local Police round the other day to have a look and to give me a report reference number. I work as a driving instructor for Land Rover, the car park is fairly quiet with no CCTV anywhere unfortunately. The grass had been cut, but i checked with the Groundsman who assured me it was the day before which seemed to match up with what other people were saying. So i don't have the faintest idea what happened, i just hope its not a personal attack! Got a couple of quotes now from local repairers, both of them saying that they could repair it and fill it? I thought a new door skin would be on the cards? Is filling a good idea with a car that is only 5 months old?

At some point last Friday when i was at work somebody has either taken a hammer to the drivers door or shot it with something. Absolutely gutted to say the least. The car was parked in the car park at work at the time, on the end space so the drivers door was next to the grass rather than another space. Nobody saw anything, no clues, no CCTV unfortunately. All i know is somebody knows they have done for one reason or another which i am completely unaware of. Now to try and get it repaired.... Any advice? going to use the insurance i think.

Yeah you can, they attach just on the inside of the door frame. If you look inside the door frame at the top you will find a little hole and thats where the feet clamp on to. I got some ProRack Whispbars for my 2013 Monte. They work a dream and very quiet and fuel efficient.

Hello, I have a Monte which is about 3 months old now, recently i have noticed a rattle coming from the passenger side of the car coming from either the door card or around the glove box. I have removed everything from the glove box and its still very audible and i don't tend to drive with the radio on and its really starting to get to me. Has anyone heard of this before or know what it might be? Thanks in advance, i have always had really great replies off of everybody on this forum. Cheers again.
