Skoda octavia vrs mk2 Flat bottom wheel
leenel88 posted a topic in Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013)
Hi guy's, just wondering which flat bottom steering wheels fit the mk 2 fl octavia vrs? My current wheel has no functions attached to it and I'm not interested in having any buttons on the new wheel actually working anything so my main question is regarding more airbag connection ( if i need to buy a new air bag for the new wheel or if i can use the current one) and which ones fit on the column. Thanks for any help chaps -
Track rod end has probably been like that since I sold it, it had slight play and he was told about it. Looking forward to seeing some pics :-)

Good to see it getting a little tlc after the last owner
-
Well this tread may be back on if the new owner of the fabia fancies carrying it on
-
bye fabia, hello Octavia vrs
-
Well the fabia has now been sold so this thread can be put to bed ☹

Glad your sticking with it Richard, I think it would play on a persons mind the ( what if ) you would have carried on with it if you don't

Not much Steve still waiting on ##!!##h to sort me out with stuff. I have bought some Ibiza ap front brakes I'll be fitting this weekend and will be buying some Octavia rear brakes soon. Also bidding on some wheels at the moment to. Car was rolling roaded a month ago and made 185bhp and 330fbls of torque which isn't bad to say its still on its original 70000 mile old turbo

Well said v6 tdi, labour cost isn't an issue rotodiesel. Shells, regrind and new pump will be far less than the 1.9 conversion. The oil pump problems are of old, I'm sure they'll be some upgraded/re-designed pump buy now
-
We also gave very little for the car so don't mind spending abit. Its to Nice of a car to scrap as its very high spec
-
Think were going to do the original engine up, re grind the crank/new shells. Labour isn't a issue as me and my dad are both mechanics. Will probably cost less to do aswell than a new engine/conversion

Looking for another 2.0tdi, just wondering if one from a passat/golf would work

Spot on ken, looks brilliant -
Hi guys, we have just bought a superb on a 07 fitted with the cursed 2.0tdi engine. As you will have probably guessed from the title its suffered the common oil pump failure and we now need a new engine for it. My question is will any other of the vag range cars be fitted with the same engine that we could swop over all of our ancillary's and get it running again? Any help would be greatly appreciated
