  1. Just a heads up halfords have a 3 for 2 on all meguiars Products.
  2. Auto Finesse Avalanche is really thick foam. I have and do use the pink pro kleen good value not as thick as the auto finesse but cleans fairly good. As its only a pre wash is good value for a weekly clean. If the car was really dirty { which is rare } i would use Auto finesse avalanche. I use 250ml to a litre bottle and a kranzle pressure washer which is brilliant.
  3. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Carbon-Collective-Platinum-Wheels-15ml-Car-Protectant-Sealant-Guard-Detail-/171490598582?epid=2106331172&hash=item27eda2deb6:g:r8sAAOSwImRYUXP6 This is what a lot of car detailers use.
  4. As above have a vehicle to do that had advertising stickers on. Out line is showing when they have been removed. would compounding level the paint work? Car is a L200 in silver. Is paint hard or soft?
  5. Scholl do there own pads i used a blue with the S20 on a black vauxhall and gave good results. I think the 2 step method is best i used Rupes Da and green pad and sonax perfrect finish white pad on a black Vrs i owned and the car just popped. So many colour metalics was unbelievable, also i was out side do not own a garage. Just clean pads after every panal and never do it in sun or wind. Take your time its not a race, not to much pressure and speed 4 0r 4.5 should be surfice.
  6. Yes the review i saw said they were only a pound. They are all prices up to £4.00 uk, but if your in no hurry £1.30 is still good value for money. I imagine when you detail vehicles, you are always on the look out for different items to try out. Only down side is volume of product held i imagine.
  7. Yes i have a dooka like mitt one dunk in the water and its full. Its a cracking wash pad, cost quite a bit but worth the money so no complaints. Some good stuff and bad in the far east but if they last a month or so that is good value. And as you say use them for the wheels, i like the way they feel on the hand have like stitched part inside.
  8. Yes cheap as chips, i was a bit surprised by the quality for price. Seen a detailing guy on utube raving about them, i only bought half a dozen wish i had got more.
  9. Bought these from the far east. Very short pile. Not a real lambs wool obviously, cost just over a pound each. Very nice feel in the hand and looking forward to try out. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/222358559640?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
  10. Put some cataclean in the tank and go for a blast. Normally works wonders on mot fails.
  11. I used to run my Nilfisk using a 50 metre extension cable. I was advised to use a 2.5mm cable had no issues.
  12. Yes only just had time to try mine friday 23rd december. Car was dirtier than normal, but the bottom of the bucket had more dirt in than the norm. On first impression i give it a thumbs up. It seems strange, its took so long to design something of the like. And a big thumbs up for Slims also.
  13. Diamater is just under 10 and a half inches, i Have maxolen buckets and they fit fine.
  14. Mine arrived wednesday night by interlink. To say it was well packaged is an understatement. Its a beautifull bit of kit has 4 longer cones around the outside and 2 in the middle. { Feet } All the holes are in a cone shape, so can understand now why it should be fit for purpose. Its not like the flimsy grit guards of old and has a nice solid feel to it. Hole size on the top are just short of half an inch. Roughly 228 holes. Hope this helps, i know they arent cheap. Cost over £16.00 but i will get another now as they are worth the outlay.
  15. Bit the bullet bought a guard, will wait till after xmas i need a few bits and bobs.
  16. Thanks for that i can see the benefits going by the video. I just bought an adams wash mitt, its a huge thing. Bought from prestige car care. Good service only down side they use myhermes. Having said that they now knock on the door. I see next day delivery as well monday to friday. I will have a look around the site always need something.

  23. As above thought i would treat myself, just arrived and what a lump it is 31 killos of german machine. If it works like it looks should be happy times ahead.
  24. Think its a lot of manufacturers now Bmw paint looks like orange peel. Not exactly what you would be expecting, concidering the cost. Think thats why a lot of people have cars sent straight to detailers to put them right.
