    Waiting List

Completed all the paper work and paid on Friday - we had a sneak preview, but difficult to get excited as covered in white protective film. I couldn't persuade the dealer to fit the mudflaps FOC, so I have that to look forward to once we pickup - hope it is not too difficult. We are collecting tomorrow evening, but still finding it all hard to believe after nearly 18 weeks wait. Just hoping that everything is present and correct.

    Waiting List

My dealer called yesterday to inform me our car was due to be delivered yesterday! Last call from him was on 5th April say the car had been built on schedule and was waiting in Eden. Going to call back this morning to arrange collection date - dealer is desperate to get this to me before the end of the month, so probably next Tuesday now - apparently they have 33 other cars to prep and get out the door before the end of the month - to hit registration targets I assume. Ordered on 28th December. Built in build week 14; Waiting in Emden on build week 14; Delivered on build week 17; Collection on build week 18; 18 weeks from order to collection - it has felt a long wait.

MarieK - the colour is black; which from what I can gather from the forum is unpopular. But black is the only colour for me. Time will tell on the delivery; but will update when it arrives,

    Waiting List

MY dealer just called to confirm that our car has been built (week 14) and has left the factory and is at the docks waiting for shipment. Apparently it can be on docks for up to 10 days and can be upto another 10 days for the transporter; the dealer but suggested it should only be another 10 days in total to pickup the keys. I ordered on the 28th December with a build week 14, so it has remained on schedule so far. I had made a few additions since the first order - removeable towbar and Amundsen+ with DAB. Apparently when it arrives, I need to go in to do some more paperwork; not sure what else there is to do really, unless this is another opportunity for the dealer to try to sell me more stuff. Still, I have to admit I am very excited and it is starting to feel real now.
  5. Skoda have finally updated the UK brochure to include these factory fit DAB options. Please see https://tools.skoda.co.uk/brochure_yeti.pdf EXTRACT ‘Amundsen’ satellite navigation system with DAB radio - upgrade to include DAB radio (where navigation is standard) Columbus’ satellite navigation systemwith DAB radio and TMC - upgrade to include DAB radio (where navigation is standard) MDI (Multi Device Interface)
  6. I have just had email confirmation from my dealer that they have now added Amundsen with DAB and MDI to my order as a factory fit option. Apparently they did have to add some additional items when using the internal dealer system to complete the options. I assume it was the following items (based on the car configurator) 1. MDI (Mobile Device Interface) - RA4 £175 2. Navigation system "AMUNDSEN+" with DAB - PND £535 3. Integrated data storage device for Western Europe - 7QL £0 4. Telephone pre-installation GSM II with Bluetooth(for sat nav) - PT6 £0 Hope this helps.
  7. Thanks for the speedy response. Did the internal system request you to add the other two no cost options - Integrated data storage device for Western Europe £0 & Telephone pre-installation GSM II with Bluetooth (for sat nav)?
  8. Agree. Preston Motors - are you able to check if these options have been added to the internal ordering system?
  9. Some update on the configurator this morning..... Options are now their with prices - some additional zero cost options need to be added and then summary is as follows: 080. Radio & Connection Integrated data storage device for Western Europe £0 MDI (Mobile Device Interface) £175 Navigation system "AMUNDSEN+" with DAB £535 Telephone pre-installation GSM II with Bluetooth (for sat nav) So Skoda are definately trying to get this out as an option, but taking longer than expected.
  10. I completely agree with Andrew. I have been trying to get DAB added to my order since last Thursday since Preston Motors kindly gave the heads up, but so far without success - my car is provisional build week 14, so keen to get this added before build week finalised. The skoda UK website has the new DAB options and prices correct listed on the Equipment page - you just need to select the trim level and they are there. The configurator as Preston Motors points out is part updated and I checked the brochure this morning which has not been updated. This lack of clarity is confusing my dealer. I spoke with him last night - he has requested admin to try add this to my order today, although given the inconsistency across the website - I can't see their internal ordering system will have been updated with these yet. Not sure if Preston Motors is able to check if these options have been added to the internal ordering system?
  11. Thanks for the heads up Preston Motors. Previously Amundsen was only available on SE Plus trim. I am really interested in getting DAB added to my existing order. I have mailed my dealer to confirm the posiiton and then will ask nicely if they can add to my order. I will keep you posted.
  12. Thanks for all the responses on this thread. I had been in touch with my dealer last Friday who was already aware of this as a new factory fit option for 2013. He did some checking and agreed to change my order to add this option. My build week is March. If you go to the UK Skoda website this morning, they have issued a new Yeti Brochure which is effective from February 2013. The brochure also contains the details for the new L&K specification. Whilst no technical details are published in the brochure, the following is confirmed as as a factory fit option: *** not available on 1.2 TSI DSG or Greenline II Towbar, removable and lockable - £400 (incl VAT) Hope this helps.
  13. I am new to Briskoda, but I recently discovered that Skoda have introduced the option for a detachable towbar option for £400. The skoda uk website now lists this on the equipment page and the car configurator tool, but the brochure has not been updated yet. The configurator disables the towbar preperation if this option selected. Much better alternative that arranging after delivery. I have a yeti on order with towbar prep but I just arranged with the dealer to swap the towbar preparation option for the replaceable factory fit option. Just got to wait a few months now for delivery :-( Hope this helps.
