  1. Can also add myself to the list, spoke with Ben yesterday to sneak myself in as I'd been away and had missed the deadline! Looking forward to receiving my box 44. BrOwS - Fabia vRS + STS - PAID
  2. E-mailed them asking the difference, will post any response I get It's got me curious to find out although £69.54 all in is probably the cheapest I've seen. Last place I used (tyretraders) did them for around £75 each fitted.

  5. Thought Van Aaken went into receivership 6 months ago? Edit: Some google digging, appears they went under back in 2007!
  6. If I've filled the car to the brim, I've noticed on average the gauge won't move off full until 200 miles, will be on half around 400 miles and empty by 600. So I've assumed the actual guage covers 37-40 litres of fuel and at the beginning it doesn't change because I'm burning off the reserve of 5-7 litres and what I've managed to squeeze into the filler pipe
  7. Well as a result of me trying to outsmart the fuel computer, I managed to fill up 59.44 litres! However that was after breaking down Computer said I had 15 miles left, but it conked out and refused to start after having to stop suddenly whilst on a hill. Mind you it was my own stupidity, should of known doing 50 miles more driving when the computer was reading 30 was only going to result in a FAIL at some point Still impressed me the amount it took, 5 litres from the can and then 54.44 at the garage which was 1/2 mile away after I got her restarted. Also not too bad MPG, 626 miles giving me an average of 47.81
  8. Been getting 550 miles recently, brimed and using millers diesel power sport 4. Without millers, was averaging just over 500 miles.
  9. he's long gone though, lost him down the M1 :(
  10. ZR I think just means re-inforced sidewall.
  11. Likewise, interested if price is good
  12. Probably eBay unless your looking for geninue parts. I've used these guys before. Link also has details about dimensions.
  13. Well according to my last V11, my Furby coughs out 143 CO2. So 2007-08 was £115.00 DVLA/ Direct Gov confirms 2008-09 will be £120.00 Then your attachment seems to put my car into the 141-150 group, so I'm reading it as: 2009-10 will be £120 2010-11 will be £125 I don't have any issue with that
  14. Was hunting around for something else but just saw this post. The place is TGM Sports (Website) run by a gentleman called Tom Gannon. Yes there was a recent fire although it wasn't there unit, next door company. It did affect them for a while but last time I spoke they were up and running again. Certaintly no complaints from me and my Jabba ARB
  15. Found these on seatcupra.net Standard 6Q0820367 Carbon 6Q0819653
  16. oilburninnut has done a bit of colour coding. Pic: http://i230.photobucket.com/albums/ee151/oilburninnut/P1050014.jpg Does indeed look very tidy, tempted to get it done myself.
  17. If you inspect the rear disc you may find a lip of rust around the edge. Due to the lack of usage and our winter weather, this builds up and creates noise under braking. You can attempt some hard braking in safe conditions or run with the handbrake on but the problem will just return. Interested to know of any real solution, dealer tried to fob it off as a side effect of the vrs braking setup which there isn't anything they can do.

  19. Also the fronts are vented whilst the rears are solid discs.
  20. SKODA Fabia 1.9 VRS MDK0037 With Delivery they're £46.21 Maybe cheaper elsewhere, didn't google the part number to find out
  21. Bump! BRISKODA.net - Alloy Tax Disc Holder if anyone was still interested...
  22. Camskill were flogging T1-R @ £57 on Special Offer. If the increase is only £4, unless the others have suddenly had a price cut it will probably still be a cheap source for Toyo's.
