Guys, I've bought the '18 Octavia tdi RS mk3 recently. It has about 70k miles on the clock.
As soon as I've bought it, I got it serviced with an oil and all the other filters being replaced. Also added Liqui Molly to clean the engine block, and another type to clean the injectors with fuel filter being replaced too to get it running as smooth as I could get.
It has been under the detailing services for the past 5 days being polished, covered with the ceramic coating etc, and today when I was ready to pick it up the real **** happened.
I got a phone call from the 'detailing guy' saying that when he finished and took it outside for some photo shoot it started to 'smoke excessively'. He says it smells similar to DPF being burned but his detailing studio is ca. 200miles away from me, so the car got a smooth drive with average of 90mph /145kmh without any problems. It was moved in and out of the studio in a meantime at least 4 times and everything seemed fine.
No 'engine check' or anything else came up on a dashboard. It suddenly started to smoke excessively and engine switches itself off after 3-4mins on idling.
Any suggestions?
I think that it was stationary for at least 6 months prior for me buying that car. (But does it matter?)
