  1. Just thought everyone might like to know I have today been onto citizens advice today about the pulling on my car. Among other things have told me they will be passing the info onto trading standards due to it being a safety issue which affects a number of vehicles (I mentioned what i'd found out on the forum) so hopefully they will kick Skoda into gear for everyone having this fault .
  2. I cant really comment on personal experience to be fair as I only dealt with them once and from that experience I wasn't best pleased as they were attempting to feed me the same crap that the other dealership did. However we do use them at work for warranty claims and as far as I can make out the manager is pleased with their service. Also on another note i got in touch with citizens advice today about the fault and among other things have told me they will be passing the info onto trading standards due to it being a safety issue which affects a number of vehicles (I mentioned what i'd found out on the forum) so hopefully they will kick Skoda into gear for everyone having this fault .
  3. Thanks very much for that ill keep that and do exactly the same if its not sorted soon.
  4. Thanks very much for the advice I've had the car now about 8 months is it still possible to do this through the dealer I bought it from?
  5. I thought I had stumbled across a good dealership to be quite honest as when I took it in for service and reported it the tech agreed with me it wasn't right. So had it all aligned and suddenly all fabias do it and they don't want to know??? Nice to know there are some decent ones still out there though who actually care about customer service/ satisfaction as they seem very few and far between nowadays.
  6. The complaint is in writing I take it? If so who are you putting it into as this may be another thing I can put to them as a last chance before i completely give up. I wouldn't mind if they fixed the car I'd be happier as i love the car and don't think I could get another car close to this for my age if I were to get rid of it.
  7. At the moment none as the two ive been to about the problem both seem to be completely disinterested however Trust Stourbridge were the main one then went to Autosales Burntwood for a 2nd opinion. But as I say no joy so now dealing with Skoda UK who are doing the talking to dealers now.
  8. Glad to see they've nearly sorted your car mate i'm still onto Skoda UK and to tell the truth have got to the point where I don't want the car no more as much as I love it I cant be done with the hassle no more. Even though it probably is just the tyres no one seems to listen or care and constantly back onto the dealers i've been to which I see no point in.
  9. Id be happy and would accept it if the car was just floating into the camber but as Gazbull said this pulls left pretty sharpish if you let go of the wheel.
  10. Funnily enough this is EXACTLY how Skoda UK have been with me. Never calling when promised I usually ring them, 2 different dealers telling me its 'normal and they all do it' and no one seems to be really that bothered. I have also now got VW finance involved, told them im not happy with the service and if its not sorted I dont want the car anymore so lets see if that kicks there arses into gear.
  11. Also thanks so far for the help and info everyone very grateful
  12. Couldnt agree more why when you go to the dealer can they not just admit that there is a fault which can be cured instead of giving the owner several different crap excuses and expecting them all to buy it? At least you seem to be getting somewhere with them they just dont seem interested when I phone up. Ill see what they say about what theyre doing with my car tomorrow which I doubt they will as 2 techs from 2 different dealerships will now have told them its road camber and theres nothing wrong.
  13. Did have a good read of this thread last night and a few people including yourself i believe were experiencing exactly the same thing ill be on to the person dealing with my complaint tomorrow and see what they say but I dont expect much tbh.
  14. This is following camber but its not a slow gradual floating to the left as you would expect a car to you have to hold this in a straight line otherwise it wants to go left but drive it on the flat and it seems fine.
  15. I run 34 psi all round if I remember correctly however have run 32 psi as well with no change. The car is a year old 7900 miles on the clock and just had its 1 year service. I have road tested a few scouts at work even 1 which id just put new suspension on the o/s/f after a minor accident, none of them have pulled or tried to follow cambers in the road. I could accept following camber if it werent so bad but at times my wheel can turn not far off 1/4 of the way round so im constantly having to hold it in a straight line.
