  1. Great news just got the all clear and it's pass with flying colours with no advisories. A remap maybe in order.
  2. Well the search continues, took off the pancake pipe and hoses expecting to see it full of oil but no. Also cleaned out what I could of the intercooler and there wasn't much there. So I think its got to be breather related. Due a service next month so will get garage to check out anything I've missed.
  3. I've got the same kind of issue. Uses a litre of oil per 2k miles. Buffs at bit when at the lights or heavy traffic but not cold start up. Changed over plugs yesterday and all where in great condition. Removed turbo pipe on the top of engine and was a little oily so next is to have a look at the intercooler. The breather pipes do have a lot of oil in them and then i removed the hockey punk about a t spoon came out.
  4. No. Gunna run it for a few more years first. Cambelt booked in for next week.
  5. Brake fluid service done. Fitted another door lock as the cheap one from china only lasted a few months. Rear caliper springs to stop the mooing once the weather changes
  6. Gearbox lever adjustment and i must say what a difference it's made. TB cleaned out.
  7. Replaced both front arb drop links and nsf wishbone. Brake fluid service and gearbox oil change next on the list.
  8. Has anyone come across this b4 as mine did to me today?
  9. All cleaned and hoovered. Replaced both front door lock units as have been playing up for a few weeks. Nice to have puddle lights, dash light and interior light back.
  10. Annual service and refitted rear washer pipe. Must get around to clean it at some point.
  11. Got mine later this week, not looking forward to that.
  12. New Bosch battery, set of front tyres, oil change, tb clean out.
  13. No plans to change yet. Everything works as if should and got over 40mpg yesterday.
  14. Car clicked over to 100k miles today. Not bad for 2002 vrs.
  15. Mine failed on a rear broken spring in January. Seems to be a common thing now.
  16. Rear shocks could be on there way out as well.
  17. Fitted new rear badge, original one is so much better.
  18. Clifford aren't what they use to be, Toad are very good.
  19. I don't think it's the turbo seals on mine as it's only doin it at idle, could be wrong. Let us know how you get on.
  20. Hi, I've got a 2002 vrs 91k good history which is burning about a litre of oil every 2k or so. It's not leaking from anywhere that I can see and definitely not dripping on to the floor. Last week the wife was behind me at the lights and she noticed that when I sit there for a minute when pull away a puff of blue smoke appears. After going on spirited drive she said nothing was coming from the exhaust. So before I phone about and get prices for stem seals is there anything else I should look for eg breathers.
  21. Thanks for that, getting that next week.
