Is this on a blt engine with the egr delete ??

Well i had my car mapped a few months ago with the egr removed from the map so that it didnt throw up the eml light and i did try to clean the crap from the manifold openin wen i blanked it.

Its held on by 3 5mm allen bolts very awkward to get to the one in the middle but some how i managed todo it with a ring spanner on the end of the allen key as leverage to help loosen them as thers very lil space for hands. Then once u can see wer the coolant hoses are u can basically reroute them buy removing the short one an putting the long one on its place an then all u need todo is fit the blanking plate then the rest is simply puttin it back together

Rite guys ive recently fitted the group buy egr delete an removed the cooler tank thing and blanked off at the manifold. I dont no if its a placebo effect but i seriously think my car has gained power it seems to pick up alot faster and also has made the exhaust sound much deeper an throatier. Just wondering if anybody else has discovered this?? Mines a fabia vrs blt engine.

Wot a ballache that was finally got it all done an sorted egr blanked coolant tank thing removed wot a nite mare that is tryin to get to those awkward allen key bolts. Not to mention the coolant bath my hands got but its all done thank god.

Thanks for all the info guys ill give it another go wen its not rainin. If i blank the manifold and leave it all attached for now wont i need to blank the pipe end that attaches to the egr?

From wot it seems like i need to remove the full egr cooling system an re route the cooling pipes that are attached to it seems a much bigger job than i expected :(

Thanks buddy much appreciated and yea i already had the egr blanked off on my remap. Sam84 i thought about that but the corrigated pipe ive been told will burst eventually :(

Do u have any info on how an wer to re-route the pipes too and how u took the full coolant system out?

I bought the delete from the group buy an im abit stumpped. ive read the fitting guide for the asz engine and i realise that the blanking plate gose on the manifold but the pipe that comes off it is attached to another system that cant just be pulled out like the guide says can anybody help me out here please. This is wer i got to :(

I need some help guys ive read the guide on here already an im still lost i removed the egr an the bit next to it i got to this stage And now ive had to put it all back on cos i cudnt figure out wer the blank plate go's can someone please help me :(
