Jamesfordy2001 replied to Goochie's topic in The Roadside Hotel

First time I've gawked at an American SUV...
Jamesfordy2001 replied to Mil's topic in General Automotive Chat
That looks fantastic! I want one! We hired a Grand Cherokee in the states a few years back. What a fabulous 4X4, but it did live up too American Motors Reliability as it broke down on the VERY last night, it seemed to be electrical failure! But it still would not stop me buying one if i had the money! -
How long have you had your vRS?
Jamesfordy2001 replied to MICKSVRS's topic in General Automotive Chat
5 Months and its going Thursday!!!!!!!!! -
Well i am finally getting rid of my Octy vRS! After 6 months of ........ well let me say, not my best time of motoring. But the main reason is because i am getting my own Bachelor pad, and i wont be able to afford to run the beast. So I have traded it in for a 54 Plate Peugeot 206 1.4ltr in Gold 5dr. It has 12000miles on the clock, Full Electrics, Air Con, CD Player and other bits and bobs. It includes over a years warranty which i am happy about, but not just that, i am saving over

Same here mate about the BUDGET motoring. Im purchasing a flat in the next few months, and my Occy vRS is currently forsale to be changed for a Renault Clio either 1.2 or 1.4 what ever comes up! I just aint going to be able to afford to run the vRS with Mortgage bills and Powergen putting up their prices!!! Good luck with the new motor!

No one could ring me the other day for a few hours, but i had full network coverage. I could dial out though Situated in Stevenage - Hertfordshire!

I bought the vRS with 86000k on the clock, because it was an ex rep car, so only do around 10-12k a year. I would go for a Fabia, but i just dont like the look of the car, so i would go for a Polo or Golf but they are just to expensive.

lol thats one of the reasons why i wanna sell it with 92000K on the clock........ but

Hey people, Im basically looking to Part X my car within the month to purchase a 03-04 Renault Clio 1.2 Petrol or 1.5DCI, because im needing to get extra cash to save because i am hoping to purchase a flat within the next few months, and no way will i be able to afford to run the vRS, with petrol price inflation, insurance and with car tax going up and up......... I have only had the car for about 5 months, but from day 1, i have never been happy with my car, not sure why, i went from a focus which i did like, but i wanted power. The vRS obviously does have the power BUT it lacks in alot of places compared to the focus, with the high milege it puts me off with the reliabilty which might change within a few months. As i will have a new warranty with a Clio this will be a big peace of mind, and as my first car was a clio, which i loved, im sure i will be happy with another one again! What sort of price do you think i might be getting on trade for my vRS, its 2003 on an 03 plate, in Black with 92000k on the clock. Many Thanks, look forward to hearing some advice:thumbup:
