I had the same problem and searched the iPhone forums and now believe the problem is indeed due to IOS 8.02, and promised to be fixed in 8.1. However, until this released, the advice is to "Reset all settings" on the iPhone. I did this on mine and the problem has been fixed with the proper network signal being registered on the car display. I did this a couple of weeks ago and it has been fine since then. You will have to reset certain settings such as WiFi passwords on the iPhone, but nothing too taxing. I am hoping IOS 8.1 doesn't undo this fix. Good luck. David

jjw, I have had my Jungle Green F/L L&K for nearly one month and am really enjoying it. I went for quite a few extras including KESSY, electric seat, spare wheel, reversing camera, uprated stereo and rear mudflaps. Just go for it, you know it makes sense! Dave

My new toy has arrived! Ordered on 10th January, picked up 29th March, so 11 weeks by my arithmetic. The spec is: Facelift Outdoor L&K 140PS DSG in Jungle Green + Keyless entry Spare wheel Electrically adjustable driver's seat 12 speaker system MDI (+ free cable from dealer!) Rear view camera S/S Tailpipes Heated washer nozzles Rear mudflaps I've only had the car about eight hours, but so far, I am very impressed. If I had ordered a couple of months later, I would probably have gone for the 170PS option (only recently available with DSG), but the 140 will likely be plenty for me. Also, brown interior looks quite classy, and I was certainly not stumping up an extra £2k to spec an Elegance up to the same level. One question for you experts - with KESSY operation, can the exterior mirrors be set to fold on locking the car. I can do it by holding down the lock button on the key, but that rather defeats the benefits of KESSY. Probably not much point in asking the dealer, as he didn't think the doors could be locked by touching the handle! Any advice gratefully received. Initial photos follow (I hope)

I have just ordered an L&K 140PS in Jungle Green (and a few extra toys) but my dealer has gone strangely quiet since I signed on the dotted line, so I don't have a forecast delivery date yet. I too have seen Jungle Green Yetis going through their off-road paces in the promotional videos, and I think it looks pretty good. I did also consider Muscovado, but went for the green in the hope it will go well with the highly desirable(!) brown upholstery. I will post pictures once I get my hands on it.

I am not (yet) familiar with the Columbus system, but when I have encountered this problem on a different system, I have to recycle the TP feature through a couple of button presses. The first press seems to look for a traffic message actually being broadcast, and if it has finished, you will just get silence. I might be imagining this, but give it try.

Coopers, Thanks for the Facebook photos of your new machine. It looks really good. I have just ordered a L&K 140PS DSG today (with several options), and am just waiting for a forecast delivery date. One piece of information that would satisfy my curiosity is confirmation that the L&K has a heated windscreen as standard, and how effective it is. The online brochure is quite clear that it is standard, but the online configurator just does not mention it either as standard or an option. Thanks

Thanks for all the advice guys, I certainly appreciate the feedback. Coming from a Lexus, I have got used to loads of toys, but to be fair, the Yeti ticks most of the boxes. Main shortfalls will be Adaptive Cruise Control (excellent, and I will need to remember the Yeti doesn't have it), the Head Up Display (I'm sure the Maxidot will do most of this) and the cooled front seats (never found these to be very effective). The Yeti will give some new features (heated windscreen, panoramic roof and park assist) to play with. Not bad for less than half the original Lexus sticker price! Brown leather upholstery is not my favourite choice either, but when I specced up an Elegance to the same configuration as the L&K on the online configurator, the price went up by nearly £2k, so I reckon I can live with it. I know I should go for a spare wheel, but I'm conscious it takes up quite a bit valuable boot space. The dealer said that he should be able to source one if I change my mind post delivery. I will make my final choices over the weekend, and sign the dotted line on Sunday. I will report back on progress.

Greetings fellow Yeti enthusiasts. Having browsed the excellent Briskoda forums from the outside for several months, I was about 90% certain I was going to order a Superb L&K, when I remembered one of the main reasons I moved to an SUV six years ago was the ease of getting in and out of the car and the elevated driving position. So despite an excellent test drive in a Superb, I have been swayed by the added appeal of the Yeti, and have ordered an Outdoor L&K, 140 DSG in Jungle Green with a few key extras (reversing camera, electric driver's seat, KESSY, 12 speaker set-up, MDI and Premium GSM III). I believe I have negotiated a decent discount, a good trade-in value (against a Lexus RX450(!), and a 3-year servicing package. I have until Sunday to finalise the spec and options, so I would really appreciate you guys' views on my choice of colour and options, especially the Premium GSM III, which I am struggling to find out what it adds to the car. Looking forward to joining the Yeti club, and some banter with this bunch of enthusiasts.
