Cat back and turbo back, Real world difference

As the thread say's. I want to get a turbo back but with the problems at MOT time some members have had is it worth it?

What's the kind of gains with a sports cat over a stock one with an aftermarket exhaust like blueflame? What about the 200 cell cat option over the 100 cell? answers please :P
