dump valve upgrade!!

Featured Replies

hi guys

looking at getting a new dump valve, just wondering which one in your opinion would be better suited for my vrs, theres the forge dv007p or the bailey dv30, is there any differance performance or noise wise? my cars pretty much standard apart from the green cotton panel filter, so far anyway :):)

any opinions or advice welcome

They have pretty much the same effect to be honest. The Forge is serviceable, not sure if the Bailey is.

I have the Bailey DV30 and have had no issues. It's a little louder than standard but no too boy-racer. Until you fit a CAI, then it makes Tschh! noises ! :D :D

I have a Forge 006. Its quite a bit bigger than the original but has a piston instead of a diaphragm like the bailey or Forge 007. I probably would go for the 007 if I was to buy another one though simply because its smaller :)

Forge 007 or SplitR (i think)

Both sound good.

I had a Hyperboost one on my Octy and that sounded good combined with a CAI.

I can only speak for the forge 007

I'm biased (as I have one), but go Forge. Seem like a quality company who care about their customers.

I emailed Forge about what DV i should be using and they got straight back to me with an answer.

I like their stuff too!
