Brake light failure

Featured Replies

Car I have is scoda octavia l&k 1.9 tdi ,heaterplug light is coming on and I have no brake lights.I have tried to change the switch on brake pedal but still no lights any ideas:confused: the year I have is 2004

if the new switch is not fitted correctly they wont work:) i.e. the little tab on the side of the switch has to click all the way around when you lock it to the pedal bracket, then all fault codes in engine electronics need to be cleared:thumbup:

Sounds like the brake light bulbs have blown as you are getting the dash light.
