  1. Hi thanks for the reply, glad that’s the parts numbers for calipers cos that’s what I ordered and they do look right, got delivered Tuesday I ordered the two short metal pipes off eBay ( TRW) TPS WANTED £38+ Vat each for the small pipes 😳😳 Just waiting on discs and pads to turn up now then I can get on with the job cheers again 👍
  2. Hi all one thing leads to another, just seems to be one thing after another lately 😤 Rear disc shield needed replaced on drivers side, broke free and rubbing on disc. Got a new one and fitted it today but noticed I need new pads and disc due to corrosion on inside of the disc. If that wasn’t bad enough the Caliper is solid and won’t wind back, I have the correct tool and been swinging off it but it just won’t back off. It’s a TRW Caliper but doesn’t have a part number on been trying to find a replacement ( going to do both sides ) Question does anyone know the part numbers for both rear calipers Rear Discs are 282mm thanks mi heads bashed in 🙄
  3. No not yet, am still trying to figure out the L03 code to how you can tell which springs/shockers are correct G07 for shockers
  4. Thanks very much for your help, it’s much appreciated I don’t know what all them numbers mean on the photo I had the photo because I was looking for the engine code once cheers again Stephen
  5. hi Carlston so reading your post I seem to have the correct Sachs items for Shockers and Coil springs why I’ve picked Sachs is cos that’s what I fitted on the rears This is pic I found back tracking through some photos I had and it showed the colour dots on spring cheers
  6. Hi all can anyone confirm these front Sachs parts are correct replace rears a good while back and had incorrect ones so here goes Sachs 317-575 front shockers ( 3C0 413 031AT Sticker on shocker) Sachs 993-061 coil springs colour code on car spring is Orange Green Yellow Yellow Sachs 802-417 Top mount/bearing kit Sachs 900-136 Dust/Bump stop kit car is a 2013 estate 2ltr tdi 170bhp manual pic of build spec included cheers all
  7. Yes I see you’ve sealed these holes but when I was looking mine it had like a bead of silicone roughly in the area I’ve marked to what I think was to divert water from them left hand drive wiper motor holes glad you’ve got it sorted
  8. Had same issue could push the windscreen up from inside can see the spots the windscreen wasn’t bonds
  9. Try turning ignition on and leaving it a short while before actually trying to start. Had a similar issue with a petrol car and that worked, would start right away but like you would just crank before firing if you tried right away. Turned out to be the fuel pump in the end Worth ago but not really sure how the diesel system works
  10. Most likely come unbounded like mine, you can see the smooth parts on pics I posted other day when the screen was removed along the top. I put a fan heater in the car to dry it out Good you’ve found the cause of the leak
  11. I have a video but says file to big
  12. Remove the A pillar trims, if it wasn’t for a little bit of water on dash I’d have never thought it was the windscreen
