Brake Lights!!

Featured Replies

Hi,

Strange one for you this Tuesday morning. Have lost all brake lights (2 main ones and the LED window brake light). Checked the fuse and its ok, checked all the bulbs and they seem fine too. To further confuse things it seems to be intermittent. Anyone got knowledge of how it is all wired? Are the lights activated from a sensor on the master cylinder or a switch below the brake pedal? Could also be a loose connection somewhere, where should I start looking?

Obviously I really want to get it fixed asap, if I fail to do it myself does anyone know a good (but inexpensive) auto elec repair garage in Coventry?

Thanks in advance!

I'd say its your switch, its common enough. Done mine last week. Its at the pedal.

Its really easy to do, I wouldnt bother with a garage, I think there is a "how to" on here somewhere. Switch is cheap too.
