Removing front grill badge from VRS

Featured Replies

My front skoda badge looks like its full of bird crap, has got a big white splodge in the middle underneath...

Bought another one so will be fitting it soon, but is there any easy way to remove the old one without causing damage? I can see its stuck on so it might be tricky and has 2 positioning pins.

theyre plastic welded on

youll need to pry off the chrome with a flat blade screwdriver then drill through the old plastic welds, then clean up and stick the new badge on

:( urghh thought this would be simple

it is simple, sounds complicated but isn't once you get started.

you could prise the badge off but you risk breaking something.

Hmm does the chrome bit just clip off then with the grill? If I have to take it off I may give it a few coats of paint while i'm at it :)
