Is the badge on the engine cover the same as the badge on the grill?

Featured Replies

As per title really, opened bonet today to find my skoda badge missing off of top of engine cover. not a clue where itll have gone as the last time the cover was off was at marlin so must of loosened off or something.

so is the badge the same as the one on the front and back of the car? its the skoda round one.

I,ve seen a thread on here somewhere with pics and part numbers of these but at the mo i can,t find it.It was on a Fabia somewhere.

Part number for coloured engine badge is I think 036 103 940 N

Part number for black engine badge is I think 1z0103940d

Do these badges just stick with adhesive onto a flat surface? Or do they have pins like the exterior badges? I am kind of thinking of doing the reverse to OP and using one of these engine badges on my bodywork :)

There are holes in the engine cover for the badge.
