When giving it some stick I get a fast repeating high pitch noise from the engine or gearbox, it's kind of like a clutch slipping sound, but mine isn't!

I have also noticed when the noise happens my boost gauge flickers around a little in time with the screach....

I can't see any problems with the boost hoses or intercooler, i'm hoping it isn't the turbo about to go bang too.....

Any thoughts anyone?

does it do it when stood still or only when the engine is under load??

Under load, full boost to be precise.

Sounds like a cry for help to me

Or a split hose....

sounds like the noise tavia4x4 got from his k03 for about 2 weeks before the oil started p155ing into the exhaust when the seals went.... when we took it off the vanes had a little play in them and some non uniform shaping....

Checked the hoses yesterday, the t.i.p was hardly on!!

I have re-fitted the original one put on by Jabba and the noise has 90% gone....

It pulls fine, same as usual with no hesitation or flat spots....

If turbo goes for a $hit i'll just have to whack on the owens jobby earlier.......dam:rofl:
