columbus

Featured Replies

yes, phones are developing... another reason why in car sat will need to go, or become cheap/standard.

i'm also aware of other columbus functions. work will fit me car kit, and i have 9000 rated and filtered songs on my ipod, which plays thru bolero.

all in all, sat nav on superb makes no financial sense to me. maybe im lucky to have tom, ipod and car kit, but i STILL think factory navs are pricey!

sorry, yes, realised mistake on rear sensors!, was thinking of another car i'd shortlisted

Do you really want to do any of that while driving LOL . Okay may be while stuck on on m'way.

I haven't spend much time on this, but sometime would look something to keep rear passengers (kids!) busy, like in the pic attached.

rear DVD players are geat. they dont look that neat though when you add the two charging leads. headphone leads and lead to connect the two players together so the kids can watch the same DVD and not fall out !!!

goo thing about the superb though - the players are too far away from the kids legs for them to get kicked unlike our current car !!! :D

might need opera glasses to see the screens though !

I totally agree. Except for that neatness of inbuilt unit and large display, I don't really see how the pricey columbus can trump the usability of iPod 80Gig and TomTom 940 with HD Traffic, map share & bluetooth that'll work with my iPhone.

Yeah - that's the reason there are no wires shown in the ad :) I'm sure there'll be a cable-tidy for cars as well.

I convert the 7 digit post code to lat/long co-ordinates and enter them in the sat nav. you can convert post codes at

This is not convenient but it gets you there. Apart from this small but irritating problem my 170 cr Elegance lives up to its name
