Boost Gauge???

Featured Replies

Right iv nearly fitted it! Just one thing how the F**K do i get the PIPE in from the engine bay! cant find anywhere!

is there an easy solution ! HELP............

I got mine through the drivers side :D

set your wipers off and switch ignition off when there over the windscreen then follow the bonnet catch cable through the bulk head !

pierce the gromet with something so it makes a half decent hole and stick some wire through it with the pipe taped onto the end :D:D:D

you will need to remove the whole part of the lower dash on drivers side and have a torch handy ;)

its a pretty fiddly job with there not being much space but I prefered to put pipe through drivers side than having to take it all the way over to the passengers side then back to drivers side in engine bay to tap into the pipe !!!

Ah thats handy to know cause when i fitted mine i couldnt see anywere to get through the driverside for **** but i may have to try that at some piont :)

its a bit of a pain in the **** to do, nice and fiddly and my hands arnt exactly small lol

a bright torch is deffo needed though ;)

good luck

did mine through passenger side

much easier

but as r1chard said then it has to go all the way from one side to the other side then bac! just a bit round the houses.

Nope, my boost gauge is mounted under the stereo.

As long as the pipe is a decent narrow hardwall one, the extra length will not matter. Getting behind the glovebox is a doddle and there's already a grommet the washer fluid pipe to the rear windscreen uses. :) Easy peeeeezy.
