Could any of you recommend some decent coilovers for my VRS Furby as its running on standard suspension right now with 17" spiders on. :confused:

I want it to sit lower and be stiffer in the bends, without rolling as much as the standard suspension does. I dont want to sacrifice too much comfort on bumpy roads though etc.

I've already got the Jabba ARB fitted just to let you know.

Any advice welcomed.

You'll need to take your time and do your research I'm afraid. No quick answer, depends what you want from the setup and how you want the car to look.

I think if its coilovers your after then KW would be your best bet if your wanting to keep 'a little' comfort. With coilovers, you seem to get what you pay for:thumbup:

Never heard anything bad regarding KW's and although i've heard good comments regarding cheaper brands, i've also heard alot of negatives.

Like people have said already though, 'search' is your friend:thumbup:

Your after exactly what i've just had done at Awesome gti.

Sitting on 17inch spiders.

RARB & FARB + pollys

Front strut brace, powerflex and cupra solid bushes.

I got mine lowered on the Koni sport springs and dampers 40m front and back.

Very flat round the corners.

The ride is hard but not offensive. Nothing compared to the billy coilovers on my tvr.

There is a huge range of coilovers from £350 ish to £2k if you want to pay it. There is tonnes of info on the forum.

Best thing to do is have a look and read other comments. Bare in mind with some you will sacrifice a lot of ride comfort so take your time choosing a good set that suites what you want.

I have the KW V2 sitting very low they are alot stiffer but i find them still comfortable but you do notice the pot holes alot if you hit them
