Mobile Phone Upgrade Help

If on Orange, depending on your banding (how valuable a customer you are to them) you can get pretty much anything for free or a lot less than on the Orange site.

Go to an Orange store. When I got my N95 18 months ago, The ticket said I had to pay £150. The till zero'd it as I was a cat 5 customer (highest possible I'm told).

Shame it didnt carry any weight with the N96, and their plans are crap else I'd have renewed for my 12th year running.

Jumped ship to T-mob. For £30/month, Flext35 with free web n walk, it's a much better deal than my Dolphin 35 package.

n96 looks good actually do you think it is?

i have been with orange for a good 5 years i will see what i can squeze out of them! last time i got a free phone worth £200 with £5 off the monthly bill making it £25 a month, with unlimited texts and 200 mins with 2 magic numbers which you can call for as long as u like for free (girlfriend!)

new phone and that deal would do me tbh :D

bloody wimmin.

after all this talk about not ****ing on orange if they were on fire she changed her mind :rolleyes:

Samsung (U900) Soul + 400mins + UL texts for £15 p.m.

It would seem they're prepared to haggle.

edit: horrible phone btw can't stand it but the wife seems to like it.

I really like my new LG Secret*, although it seems to be out of stock on Orange. I pay quite a bit more p.m. but then get more minutes and unlimited internetz. Oh, and Orange reception is non-existent at our house anyway, as Mrs Ap0gee will testify! ;):D But, yeah, if you can get it, my choice would be the Secret...

Although the one they sent me had a duff light under the 'up' button. New one due for delivery ~24 hours after reporting fault...

I did the same - I'm now with T-Mobile and am on Flext35. It's a great deal and suits me down to the ground. :)

Handset wise - Go into your local store and just play around with all the phones. I always ask the staff what phones they have and if they mind if I have a 'play' to get a feel for it.

I have the LG viewty at the moment:

The contract is going to run out after xmas. Please do note, there will be many new handsets all coming out around xmas - I would suggest you wait untill then.

Hope this helps,

Rob

Sorry I didn't get to the thread earlier. Treat it well, if it breaks there are no parts available!

what you mean :confused::eek:

what you mean :confused::eek:

I mean, don't damage it or get it dirty. If for whatever reason you need and LCD, casing, speaker, mic etc you will be waiting about 6-8 weeks for he parts to turn up and thats not taking into account to queue of people in front of you.

Just take care of it!

I'm with Vodafone.

Free Samsung soul

900 anytime minutes

500 texts

Free anytime landline calls

30 quid a month, which I thought was pretty good ( although the phone is a bit naff, I should have got another Nokia.)

Phones really good yeah, the camera is amazing i can post some pictures on here later if that helps?
