Condensation inside back window

Featured Replies

After its rained heavily I'm finding if i open the boot the rubber seal is wet upto about the top of the light clusters then it stops. However the seal along the bottom seems to sit on the top of the bumper and thought maybe the water from the bumper is getting wicked up the seal join? The bumper looks like its the right position but to me it doesnt seem a good idea to have the boot seal compresed agains the top of the bumper.

I thought i had the same problem as this last week.as when i opened the tailgate the strap that hangs down (to shut the boot) was wet.i put it down to just bein at the car wash and they used the jet washer to much on the tailgate and bumper.doesnt seen to have got wet again.how old is your car ?

Its an 04 plate. Dont think its just the pull strap getting caught in there as thats never been wet. Not sure if you can actually adjust the position of the boot when it shuts?

:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: way to make a gal cry!!!!!

Oy Oy, what you been doing??!

Check your rear carpits.

Its common that rear doors leak (search).

Mine did, and then when i heated the car, it steamed up the back window, and all the rear side windows.

Its easy to fix the leak with some silicone.

HTH.
