Glow Plug Location?

Featured Replies

Hey guys, when starting the car on a cold morning the car sometimes has a slightly juddery/lumpy startup but once the car is warmer its fine and so i was considering changing the glow plugs to see if this helped. But i have no idea where they are located, The car is a 53-plate Fabia VRS anyone have any ideas where the plugs are located? cheers.

take the engine cover off and you should see them easy to get to

The rocket cover or the plastic engine cover which has the skode badge on? as ive removed the plastic cover and cant see them there (note: i am looking at my engine pics now on the PC it might be a different matter though when i actually look.) are they at the front or back of the engine? cheers

Front of the engine, just below the line of the cam cover. Look for a plastic coated wiring link between them all.

Dont know who's engine bay ive just Microsoft Painted...

It was the first decent one that came up on google

But this should make it a bit easyer.

They are around that area...

Pull off the plastic wiring harness thing and they are under there.
